Built near the railway station
It was born as Hotel de Paris in 1897 built on a project by Pietro Agosti in Art Nouveau style which was his first work in the city of Sanremo.
It was also strategically located near the railway station and therefore easily accessible by customers arriving by train.
It was provided with about thirty rooms and equipped with reading rooms, a tea room.
On the first floor from where there was a wide view of the opposite side and was intended for a refined and selected clientele.
In 1907 Pietro Agosti himself planned the renovation of the hotel, creating a structure in front of the facade, dedicated exclusively to catering.
The Hotel continued its activity until 1991, when it too was overwhelmed by the crisis that enveloped tourism in general.
Renovated and modernised, it resumed its activity on the occasion of the Festival in 2011.
