The Gost Hotel
Not everyone knows that between 1873 and 1874 Sanremo already had another Hotel Bellevue right in front of the Imperatrice Walk.
It was commissioned in 1871 by the Turin entrepreneur Giovanni Marsaglia to the architect Pio Soli.
It had a very short life and for a certain period lived together with the Marsaglia Castle, on its left side.
When it was demolished a few years later, it left a large space that was later occupied by the Auditorium and the Marsaglia Park.
