A hospitable villa
Located at the end of Corso Imperatrice, at the beginning of the current Vittorio Emanuele II seafront, the villa, owned for over seventy years by Count Cavaradossi di Toetto d'Asprémont, was designed by the engineer Giulio Franco Gilli from Nice and stands out for its characteristic colonnade and an artistic frieze placed on the pediment of the building.
The villa, which was inhabited for several years by Count Eugenio Cavaradossi d'Asprémont, hosted many high-ranking families for rent, including that of General Count Romei di Longhena, the Venetian nobleman Count Alverà, Senator Renato Angiolillo, who was director of the newspaper "Il Tempo" in Rome, and, for some years, also of Dr. Diomede Turitto, former CEO of the Casino di Sanremo.
