The Villa with oriental features

La Villa Palais d'AgraUna delle cupoleThere are not many details about the origin of this villa, but only rumours that the history of the Palais d'Agra is this: it was built by a viceroy of India (a Governor on behalf of the Queen) who retired in Sanremo and was named so because it follows the style of the Taj Mahal mausoleum built in the city of AGRA in 1632 by the mogul emperor Shah Jahan in honour and memory of one of his favourite wives.
