The villa overlooking the Empress

Originally called Villa Mon Soleil and located in Corso Imperatrice, the villa was probably built between 1878 and 1880 to a design by Pio Soli.

During the Fascism era it was owned by Adele de Vescovi Zanella, musician and pianist, who, in compliance with the provisions of the regime, had to change the name of her villa, choosing a particularly graceful and appropriate name in Italian.

The building has the usual two-body structure, also typical of other buildings in Soli such as Villa Stefania, but is characterised above all by the classic truncated turret, covered in slate with fish scales, with oculus windows.

The interior was very spacious and very welcoming for the presence of paintings and valuable furniture, while the large hall was covered with fine lace.
