Lawyer and mayor

Alfredi Natta Soleri

Born in Camporosso on 11 December 1859, he practised as a lawyer in Sanremo.

In December 1908 he became mayor of the town and remained in office until November 1913. He was part of the committee promoting the erection of the Russian Church.

In 1920 he was elected President of the Provincial Council of Porto Maurizio, a commitment he maintained until 1926.
Then, the following year, he was appointed to the newly established Autonomous Tourist Board of the city and after the establishment of the Rectorate of the Province, he was appointed vice-president.

He also acted as Consul of the Principality of Monaco and as Knight of the Crown of Italy and of the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus.

He died in Sanremo on 25 August 1950.
